There are many more, but these are people and companies who I have worked and had good results with, are Affiliates with the Board, or other Agents have recommend them to me.
I strongly suggest that you call a few and, if possible, visit them, then decide who YOU want to work with. A home purchase can take as short as a couple of weeks or as long as a year, so get someone who you are comfortable with. unfortunately, there are a few (very few) local mortgage companies that have either cost my clients large sums of money or are an absolute nightmare to deal with. If a company is not listed here, it doesn't mean they are one of these, please feel free to ask me about any company. If i've dealt with them, i'll be totally honest and tell you my personal feelings. ultimately, the final choice is up to you.
** NOTE: With the government changes in the mortgage process starting late 2015, assume most Government Backed Loans (VA, FHA, USDA, etc.) may take 45-90 days to Close. Please keep that in mind while looking for your next home.
